Ok, it's once again time to tell you about our Specialty Show this weekend
The legendary Al Green was highly visible at the recent Grammy Award TV Show. The soul legend was nominated in 3 categories, among them, a nomination for Best R&B Album.
Al won a Grammy for Best Traditional R&B Vocal performance for "You've Got The Love I Need" and he also won the Grammy for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals for his duet with John Legend.
As if that wasn't enough, Al performed with Millington/Memphis, Tenn. native, Justin Timberlake and he co-presented the Grammy for Song of the Year.
Reverend Green was a busy man on Grammy night.
We honor and salute Al's Grammy success with a Specialty Show this week featuring the music of Al Green.
The All Memphis Music Specialty Show will air this Friday night, February 13th at 10:00 PM (CST Memphis Time) and rebroadcast on Saturday morning February 14th at 10:00 AM (CST Memphis Time).
