Well this week we've got a great Specialty Show, featuring The Eric Hughes Band.

Eric Hughes, an ex-Marine and multi-instrumentalist was first struck by blues music as a youngster while listening to hired musician James "Son" Thomas perform at a Mississippi hunting camp.

He formed the Memphis Blues Society in 2005 to help foster this deeply American form of music.

Eric is a fixture on the live music scene and can be found playing his music at several of the Beale Street clubs on a very regular basis.

This week, AllMemphisMusic.com will feature music from Eric's latest cd release...Eric Hughes Band. The music was recorded live at the Rum Boogie Cafe located on "World Famous Beale Street".

We'll also have Eric sitting in with us talking about himself and his new cd.

The Specialty Show will air this Friday night February 26th at 10:00 pm (CST Memphis Time) and will repeat on Saturday morning February 27th at 10:00 am (CST Memphis Time)
